My goal is to have you feel confident and comfortable moving into a new training process. We will discuss a fitness and business plan but also develop a working relationship. Together, we will come up with a realistic approach to your goals. These goals includes:
Increasing quality joint motion
Increasing muscle mass and/or muscle tone
Enhance muscular capabilities/post PT rehab
Enhance one’s sport performance through Specificity Strength Training
Improve one’s longevity of life and their continuance to perform regular daily tasks
Reducing body fat% and possible systemic inflammation
Create better habits that can manage daily stresses to improve your overall health
Origin Story
My interests in health and fitness came about when I attended Columbia College Chicago for Illustration. Having a passion for illustrating stories, I also grew a passion for exercising in the gym along with martial-arts training. By the time I graduated with a BA in Fine Arts, Fitness was apart of my life, and sought after a career in Personal Training. I became a certified personal trainer through ISSA in 2004. In 2008, I became a certified MAT Jumpstart Trainer, which allows me to assess joint limitations, and use positional isometrics to reinforce muscle contraction. In 2015, I catapulted my education to become a Resistance Training Specialist, (RTSm) which emphasizes the relationship of external forces to the body and how our internal forces (muscles) respond. I hope to continue to evolve as an exercise professional to better serve and improve my clients.
